god, it's so sad about him.

I don't get too bummed out when someone dies, if they're pretty old.

It does bother me when someone dies young enough
to miss out on many of the wonders of life, though.

What makes me sad is to see someone go who made the world better. When folks like Newman or, say, Carl Sagan, die, I begin to panic that all the good guys are going and leaving us with too many Dubya-types.

I think his daughter became involved with Newman's Own. I'd be very surprised if he didn't set it up to continue without him.

I heard someone pointing out that his brand was extremely difficult to launch, because everyone assumes that celebrity brands are always shite. It was tough for them to get anyone to even try it, at first.

you are awesome, and never disappoint! although I am guessing with how natural Newman's products aimed to be, he did not use that product.
